Okay, so this isn’t my first foray into keeping a blog. I had one in the past, a beautiful little blog that I poured hours into just in designing alone. It was cute, it was fun, I posted every day (or nearly), and it was all mine.
Then I got a little slack and posted less and less often, mostly due to the sheer amount of time it took me to edit everything just right (I have issues), and before you knew it weeks, then months had gone by with nary a word typed or picture posted. Before long it met it’s ultimate demise. The husband refused to pay for a domain that was not being used. :(
Fast forward to now; I’ve begun to get that little itch again. The need to post, and share, the desire to see my life in paragraphs and pictures.
I feel a little disappointed in myself that I’ve lost the chance to keep track of everything that I’ve been interested in, things that I’ve gone through, and just life in general by not keeping up my little online diary.
The husband suggested that instead of spending the money and countless hours tweaking a site to my idea of perfection (which I find really fun actually), that I try out tumblr and see how long the interest stays with me this time. It is a valid point. He also suggested that this venue is probably better suited to my style - a few words, some vibrant pictures, and an eclectic mix of interests. He may very well be right. So here’s hoping I can stay with this and make it something of great interest to me - a running log of my diverse interests, and rather mundane life.
